No words can describe my sorrows at this time. I have been very fortunate to share part the life of this very special lady Iris Seatherton, my Mother in law.
Iris welcomed me into the family with open arms in April 1992 and from the moment I met her I knew she would always be a second mother. Warm, kind and extremely generous, there is nothing Iris wouldn't do for me or her family. She had a great sense of humor and always knew how to enjoy herself but most importantly making sure everyone else was having a good time too. A devoted wife to John and mother to Johnny, David, Ann and Geoffrey "The baby" of the family Iris has always put her family first. With John they always ensured their children had values. Iris was a great cook and enjoyed baking. We all remember the scones, sausages pies and cookies we were given on a regular basis. I want to remember a Happy and smiling Iris, happily singing an exceptionally caring Lady...A Gem of a lady...Always in my heart. xxxx
