In loving memory of Brenda Rix who sadly passed away on 28th January 2016.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter. A courageous woman. Brave, strong and loyal to herself and to all those she loved. We'd like to thank everyone who has showed their love and support. After a long battle against Cancer, she now rests in peace.
Dorothy House Hospice Care is Brenda's chosen charity due to the outstanding care she received during her very difficult battle. Brenda and her family can't thank Dorothy House enough. Their staff gave Brenda and her family such strong emotional support as well as everything she needed to be able to enjoy the rest of her days at home with her loved ones. We were all so happy and grateful that this be the case. Brenda enjoyed a wonderful Christmas and new year with us all. Therefore, we asked kindly that friends and family make kind donations to Dorothy House instead of flowers. Once again, we thank you for your kind words of support during this difficult time. Brenda was the life and soul of every party, always provided words of support to those who needed to hear it. She has shown us all that life really is too short. She showed real strength, courage and positivity right to the end.
