Derek James Lewis – “Dick”

After a short illness, Dick sadly left us on Monday, 28th September 2026, aged 85 years.

He will be so deeply missed by his pride and joy – his family – and all those who knew and loved him. He was the beloved husband to Marion, and is now reunited with her in God's Garden. The proud father of 3 daughters, Kerry, Raina and Alana, cherished father-in-law to Mike and Andy, and beloved Pappy to Cameron, Jasmine, Thalia, Maia and Esme. He has left a hole that will never be filled.

A final farewell service is to be held at West Wiltshire Crematorium, Semington, on Friday, 30th October at 2.30 pm.

All friends and family welcome.

Family flowers only please; however, if desired, there will be a collection in his memory in aid of The Salvation Army, for the support Dick and his family received during the first few years of his life. c/o A.P. McDonald Funeral Services, Devizes. Tel: 01380 698188.

At Dick’s request, there will be no wake – just carry your memories and laughs in your hearts home with you, and remember him with a smile.

You came in to the world, Dad, and the “Sally Army” helped both you and Granny Lewis. Thank God for them, I say. Without them you may not have grown to be the kindest, most wonderful and most loving person we were blessed to have in our lives. No we can give a little something back to them in your honour. Love you lots Dad xxx
