Bern Langridge 13.10.1938-24.09.2026 Bern was born in Redhill Surrey in 1938, living with parents Tom & Win for a couple of years before the family moved to Southampton and was in time joined by three sisters, Jean, Maureen and Sally. They lived in Mansbridge, Southampton for many years. After school he joined the Ordnance Survey as a platemaker. He was called up to do his National Service and after training was sent to Cyprus, which he thoroughly enjoyed, so much so he joined the TA after National Service was completed. He met Rene in 1960 and they married in 1963 and after time along came children Julie and Stuart. Bern had left the Ordnance Survey and had joined the commercial world of printing. Julie met Nick and Stuart met Chris who had Chloe & Ethan, the grandchildren of "Pops". He was always fun loving and sociable and there were many parties at Rene and Bern's house and at friends houses. He also enjoyed snooker, squash and caravanning, often travelling through Europe with the caravan with family and friends. He thoroughly enjoyed life and managed to make some wonderful memories for family and friends and will be greatly missed
