For over five years, Sam bravely fought cancer. What began with bowel cancer led her through recurrences, multiple surgeries and even more rounds of chemotherapy. Through it all, she continued to show an incredible strength that inspired everyone around her.
Sam was truly an inspiration. She was always so positive, full of life and determined to make the most of every moment. Even when things were incredibly difficult, she found a way to keep smiling and enjoying life with the people she loved.
Sam leaves behind her husband Steve and children Fynn, Yazmin & Izzi.

Our family has known Sam since her school days, when she became a dear friend of my daughter, Suzy. Over the years, it was a true pleasure and privilege to know her and to watch the lovely person she grew into.
Sam was such a warm, positive and special person, and she will be remembered with so much love and affection. We feel very fortunate to have known her and to have shared so many memories along the way.
Our hearts and thoughts are with Steve, Fynn, Yazmin and Izzy at this incredibly difficult time. We hope they can take some comfort from knowing how loved Sam was and how many lives she touched.

I had the absolute pleasure and privilege to be Fynn, Yazmin and Izzi’s Nanny and spent 6 wonderful years working with this beautiful family. Hands down this was the best job experience I have ever had, nothing has compared since. Sam was an amazing lady, always full of smiles and laughs and advice and help too. I have so many memories that I will treasure forever and remain so thankful that we kept in touch as the children all grew up and went to school.
