Was so sad to hear of your loss after a long battle with cancer, all the good die young as they say! I am gutted to have lost contact with you of late but you seemed so happy and that warms my heart. You will forever be missed! Lots of love Dan xx

Although everyone's hearts are broken at the sad news of you passing, I will always smile when I hear your name and remember you. There aren’t many people that you meet in life that you can say were a special soul, but you Dan were definitely that. Thank you for the memories, thank you for showing us what bravery is and thank you for being our friend. Love you Dan x

Danny smiled, welcomed and guided me at times at Norbury Station over 20 years ago on my 1st day shift, and he always continued to do the same whenever we shared some space time and laughter together in our job.
