In loving memory of Anne Marlene Evans who sadly passed away peacefully on 7th August 2026

Marlene is survived by her husband Roger, children Rebecca, Jonathan and Claire, their spouses Philip, Katrina and Ian, her grandchildren Alex and his husband Darren, Jacob and his wife Zoe, Harriet, Charlie, Grace, Theo, George and Scarlett, and her great grandchildren Lily and Freya

She was much loved by her family, but also the wider communities around Dudley and Halesowen, as she gave many years of advice and support to a great many people in need. So many, including friends and relatives have sent lovely tributes.

Apart from her brief brave move to Saudi Arabia and her final years in Hagley, Marlene lived in and around Dudley for the majority of her life, raising her family then volunteering and ultimately working for the CAB.

Marlene dealt stoically with her diagnosis of Parkinson’s, which constrained her later years, but she took great joy from her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren to the very end of her life

She will be missed by all who knew her for her humour in the face of adversity, her sense of justice and her love and support, unstintingly given to any who needed her.
