Denys Jones

who sadly passed away on 29th July.

Denys was a much-loved husband to Emma, a loving son, an amazing dad and stepdad, a dear brother and uncle, a much-loved relative, a true friend to many, and a devoted family man.

Denys was a very popular and well-known man within the community. Although quiet and unassuming to many, he was a real joker with a great sense of humour. He was a funny, kind and truly special man who enjoyed making others laugh and will be remembered with great fondness by so many people.

Denys will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and everyone whose life he touched.

The funeral service will be held at West Wiltshire Crematorium, Semington, on Friday 28th August at 2.30pm.

There is no formal dress code; the family simply ask that those attending dress smartly. Anyone wishing to wear something bright is more than welcome.

Following the service, family and friends are warmly invited to gather at The Bell on the Green, Devizes, where they can come together, raise a glass in Denys’s memory and share stories and fond memories of a much-loved and greatly missed man.

Donations in Denys’s memory, if desired, will be given to Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s Men’s Wellbeing Programme, which uses nature and outdoor activities to support men’s mental and physical wellbeing.
