Frederick Chilcott (known to many as Fred) of Chilcombe Farm Lydeard St Lawrence, passed away peacefully on Saturday 4th July 2026 surrounded by his loved ones at home aged 84 years. Fred was well known throughout the local area as a respected engineer and farmer, and will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A funeral service will take place in memory of Fred on Thursday 23rd July 2026 at 11.20am at Taunton Deane Crematorium. Donations in memory of Fred are being sent to Cancer Research UK.
