In loving memory of Ann Sargent who sadly passed away on 2nd July 2026.

Mum was a devoted mum to us 3 daughters and a much-loved nan.

She was a kind, caring and loving lady whose family was always at the centre of her world. She gave us a wonderful childhood filled with love, laughter and happy memories. Mum always gave her time, patience and encouragement. As we grew older, she remained our greatest source of strength, support and inspiration.

Mum lived with COPD for several years but faced every challenge with remarkable strength and independence. Her greatest wish was to remain in her own home, and we are grateful that she was able to pass away peacefully in her sleep, exactly as she wanted.

She leaves behind a family who will love and miss her every single day. We are forever grateful to have had her as our mum, and we hope this page honours the incredible woman she was.

Thank you for your kindness, support and any donation made in Mum's memory.

I have come to know of Ann's passing recently and it is with great sadness to learn of Ann has departed us. She was a fantastic character, she was essentially in the role of mother in law for some years, and although we did not always see eye to eye, in the main because of my past behaviour, we always found common ground, we found a common place to laugh and joke.
She brought up three beautiful daughters with little to help her. Reg, her dad, when he passed, was a shock to us all yet Ann persisted in being a mother first and foremost despite her grieving for her dad. She was strong and courageous in so many ways, she deserves many more years than she wás allowed. I will miss her for all the memories I have, both good, and the ones she chastised me for, both directly and indirectly. Ann was a fantasy human...the world is now so much more emptier without her. God bless you Ann.

So sad to hear the news. Ann was a warm and caring lady who was very special to us. Over the many years we were lucky enough to know her, Ann’s love of her family, and her care and compassion, was always evident.
Sending love to all the family.
Steph, John and Harry. Xxx
