Andy Moore
Peacefully passed away on 26th June 2026.
Andy will be deeply missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, grandchildren, brothers, sister and all who knew him. A true friend to many, he was well known and highly respected within the bowls community for his passion for the sport, his dedication, and his willingness to help and support others.
A funeral service to celebrate Andy's life will take place at West Wiltshire Crematorium, Semington, on Wednesday 29th July 2026 at 12:30pm, followed by a wake at Spencers Sports and Social Club Melksham. All who knew Andy are warmly welcome to attend.

These two clubs had a huge place in Andy's life and we would love to give back for all the happy memories.
Andy was a ‘football mate’ of mine and we spent a decade travelling the country either in Andy’s Espace or mine, with Geoff and Doug watching Bristol City mostly lose ! When the boys were in Primary School Andy locked his car keys in the Espace at an evening game in Nottingham. Andy holds the land speed record between Nottingham and Melksham. We crept in about 2am. Andy you were a great companion and you will be sorely missed.
The greatest Dad I could ever asked for, you would have done anything for me and you did, endless drives around the country watching Bristol City, fantastic memories that will never forget even if we were pretty rubbish as a team 😁, Great nights at the dogs and so many funny stories and people met.
Then you got the family involved in bowls somehow, but wow we’ve met so many great people, travelled all over the place playing tournaments etc. (you always drove of course so I could have a beer ❤️) again met an amazing amount of people, and so many tales to tell - how many times I told you to go off to play with other top bowlers to go and win titles and you insisted that playing with your family was everything, the most unselfish man I’ve ever met.
Words cannot describe how much I’ll miss you but I know how lucky I was to have a Dad like you and am so proud of how loved and respected you were, I will look after Mum and do you proud until we meet again

You were such a devoted dad that did ANYTHING fir us. I will always remember the way you were in life. Always enjoying the little things, happy, not stressed and so proud of your family and achievements.
Oliver and Arabella loved you so much, you were such a fun Grandad. Bubbles, ice creams and holidays, they are both going to miss you so much.
I will make sure they remember you and speak about you forever ❤️❤️❤️
Love you, hope your puffing away up there and playing bowls up there 24/7. Look after my Nans, grandad, Uncle Mike and Uncle Pete. Dont make Grandad too red in the face 😭😂😂 xxxxxxxx
