In loving memory of Colin Palmer who sadly passed away on 2nd July 2026. 5 years ago our lovely dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer which already had spread to the lymph nodes and pelvis. 2 years ago after many infections and five months in hospital he was given three months to live, after bringing him home and being with our family it gave him a new lease of life with our support and love, and with his own incredible inner strength and strong determination we’ve been lucky enough to gain more happy memories these past couple of years.

23 days shy of what would be his 85th birthday he closed his eyes for the last time and reached out for our mum (who sadly passed away just a few months ago). My sister and I were so lucky to get this extra time with him and one last Father’s Day. He will be truly missed by us and his grandchildren, family and all who knew him.

Everyone who knew him will have memories/stories so please feel free to share on here anything you remember, or light a candle, as we love hearing any anecdotes (especially about the good old days) as it brings great comfort and helps to keep his memory alive.

A true old school Bermondsey gent, beloved retired cabbie who will never be forgotten. Give mummy a kiss from us, we love you both to the moon and back, sleep tight, night night little dad πŸ’”

Thinking of all the family at this sad time.
Colin and Cathy were our next door neighbours in new place square. Colin was a lovely man. He and Cathy adored one another and at least he is at peace now with his lovely Cathy.
RIP Colin xx

So sad your no longer with us, but I'm thankful for the time we had as neighbours, you and your wife welcomed me and my family with warm and welcoming hearts,

We would stand on the balcony watching the world go by, talking about this and that,

I would see you coming back from fishing, asking you whats for tea.

Will miss you both my amazing and loving neighbours.

Paulette, troy, Jahcyntha

Ower love will never die.

Bless you colin πŸ™ ❀️
