So sorry and sad to hear of Ann passing away. A lovely, kind and caring lady. Always remembered for her love and care of children as a childminder for many years.

I am so sad to have seen the oasding of your mum faye, wife Steve. My thoughts are with you after losing such a beautiful caring lady. I came across your mum aged 18 nearly qualified in hairdressing. From that day she wasn't just a loyal customer coming to me every 3/4 weeks she became a friend for the 22 years I was lucky enough to know her. She had such a kind heart. il miss our chats and her laughs. Sending love to those closest ❤️

To Uncle Steve, Faye and family. Really saddened to hear of Auntie Ann passing away. Always enjoyed our traditional Boxing Day get togethers as a child and Ann was always caring and interested in what I was doing. Never missed a birthday and reading the many tributes so far tells you how much Ann was held in high esteem by everyone she came into contact with. To all the children, I pray for an aunty Ann for you. I hope her guardian angel wings spread far and wide.

Dear Aunty Ann,

This is so hard, how to write words to reflect such an amazing woman.

From a baby until I was 11 years old, you were my childminder, an aunty Ann…. A second mum. It may have been a job to some, but for you it was a passion.

I have the fondest memories of the time I spent with you before and after school, the playgrounds we visited, and the trips we went on with Steve, who would drive us to and from our adventures. And with you to Faye, the memories, the games and the laughs we all shared were created from a safe haven your mum had built. She will most certainly be by your side guiding you through and watching from above I’m almost certain of.

I remember all the trouble I used to get into with my younger co buddy Richard R, and how the naughty step was a constant seat for me! But you never judged me. You taught me right from wrong. You were firm and disciplined, yet you made every child feel so loved, free, and happy. You laughed, you smiled, you educated us, and you truly were the perfect person to care for any child.

When I had children of my own, I wanted to recreate what you gave me. I soon realised there was only ever one Aunty Ann. You were simply irreplaceable.

I am so saddened to hear of your passing. I am grateful your illness was short-lived and that you weren't left to suffer for a long time.

My heart, prayers, and thoughts are with Faye, her family, and Steve.

Steve, she was your rock, and you were hers. I truly hope her guiding light will help you through this incredibly difficult time. She loved you wholeheartedly .

When I saw the words "Bulwell Golf Course," it made me smile. Even now, whenever I drive past, I think of you both fondly.

A wonderful person so caring and calm. Great company at the family gatherings. Will be truly missed by all.

Such a wonderful human being. Ann was a constant for as long as I can remember.
