In loving memory of Pauline Skelding who sadly passed away on 9th June 2026 with her loving family by her side.

Our beloved Mom, wife and Nan will be missed enormously by us all and many who knew her. She fought a very short battle with Pancreatic Cancer which took her away from her loving family far too soon.

Mom was one of the most selfless, caring and giving people you could ever meet. She always put others before herself, never asking for anything in return, and spent her life helping and supporting those around her.

We miss you immensely and know you are now at peace. She was the bravest person I know and fought to the bitter end. Fly high and shine brightly. 💔💔💔

Aunty Pauline was a huge part of my childhood. Taking us into her home when my mom was in hospital. Taking me to girls brigade and even letting my mom sneak out whilst keeping me busy until I realised she’d gone and would cry until she came back. She was always there for everyone, family, friends and strangers. Have some wonderful memories of Aunty Pauline. Will cherish every single one of them. RIP you will never be forgotten.

I’ve been so saddened by the news of Pauline’s passing. After my own mum passed away my sibling and I moved in with my Dad on Albert Street. I don’t have many memories of this time but one of my best memories is how much Pauline made us feel like family. We would walk from Wollescote Primary school to Pauline’s afterschool. She would make us dinner and we’d sit with Poppy watching TV until dad was home. My favorite was when Poppy would hide her head between the couch cushion, with her bum in the air and Pauline would tell us that if she couldn’t see us, we couldn’t see her. Even when we were playing out in the street, or Cricket with David in front of her house, she was always watching out for all of the kids on Albert Street. Even almost 30 years later, and 5000 miles apart she still loved and cheered me on and even my own children and husband who will never have the pleasure of meeting such an incredible woman. We were all her “Grandbabies” That’s who she was, she loved everyone, nurtured everyone, cheered for everyone and looked out for everyone. You will be missed by so many who loved you Pauline. The world is a little less bright without your presence. R.I.P. Pauline, love you.

Pauline was so welcoming when I moved to Albert Street a few years ago. Such a lovely lady, very caring and attentive. Her and Ken made the transition so much easier, having such nice neighbours. Rest in peace Pauline xxx
