It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Giles on 31st May 2026 at Christchurch Hospice, with his family by his side.

Giles lived life to the full and brought happiness to many. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him in Devizes and beyond.

A service to celebrate Giles’ life will take place at St John’s Church, Long Street, Devizes, on Friday 3rd July at 2:00pm.

The cortège will be passing Ferris & Culverwell, Devizes, at 1:40pm, travelling through the town to St John’s Church. Those wishing to pay their respects are warmly invited to do so along the route as Giles makes his final journey.

Traditional funeral dress is requested.

Family flowers only, please.

If desired, donations in memory of Giles may be made to Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis (Registered Charity No. 1152399) and Christchurch Macmillan Hospice (Registered Charity No. 268218).
