Charles “Mark” Bowes
1st February 1960 – 8th May 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Bowes, a much-loved husband, brother, son-in-law, uncle, cousin and a beloved friend.

Mark passed away in Katherine House on Friday 8th May.

The funeral service and burial will be held at St John the Baptist Church, Hornton on Friday 5th June at 12pm. This will be followed by refreshments at Hornton Pavillion.

It was Mark’s wish that those attending, who are comfortable to, dress in casual attire. In his words: “Think going to a gig or motorcycle race, or for a pint with me in the pub.”

Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Mark will go to the OOSO (Oxfordshire Oesophageal and Stomach Organisation) or The Dogs Trust.

So sorry to hear of Mark's passing. He was always a top man and an all round nice guy.

I have some great memories of the laughter and fun we had on our Motorhome travels around Europe.

Gutted I couldn't be at the funeral but you are in my thoughts Jenny.
