It is with great sadness that the family of Julia Twentymanshare the news of her passing on the 13th May 2026, at the age of 84.
Julia will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband of 63 years, John, her daughter Ann, and grandchildren Douglas, Michael, Oliver and Leo. She will also be greatly missed by her sister, nieces and nephews, extended family and her many friends.
Among her many talents, Julia was a great hostess enjoying many garden and dinner parties. She had a successful career as a secretary in local schools and at Wiltshire Police force. She was a talented flower arranger being an active member of Devizes Flower arranging club and church flower arranger. With her husband she was a long-time member of the Lions Club. In her retirement she was a volunteer for Victim Support and took up playing golf. She loved to travel and journeyed all over the world with her husband, family and friends.
A memorial service will take place at St Johns Church, Long Street in Devizes, on Wednesday 10th June at 1pm, after a private cremation with the family.
