Funeral Director
In loving memory of Christine Mary Uncles who sadly passed away on 10th May 2026.
Christine was born in Leeds, where she lived with her loving mother Doreen until she met her devoted husband Ken and built a wonderful family life of her own with two children and eventually four grandchildren. She dedicated many years to working as a primary school teacher remaining deeply committed to providing equality of opportunity and academic development to the children she taught.
In her retirement, she moved to Melbourne, where she spent many happy years with her beloved husband, and the friends she made in the local community. She especially enjoyed walks in the surrounding area with friends, family and with her dog Masie, and loved lunching out at the array of local eateries.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her family, who will treasure the many happy memories she leaves behind.
Before she passed Christine made the request that there be no black ties at her funeral and asked that people wear something in the colours red or purple.
