Of Stowmarket, Suffolk, who passed away peacefully at St Nicholas Hospice, Bury St Edmunds, on 30th April 2026, aged 73 years, after a short illness.
Beloved husband of Rita, much loved father of Victoria, Laura, Toby and Charlotte, treasured grandfather of Jessica, Thomas, Finley, William and Phoebe, and dear brother of Libby and Roger.
Guy will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.
Funeral service to be held at West Suffolk Crematorium, Risby, Bury St Edmunds, IP28 6RR, at 3:00pm on Friday 29th May 2026. Following the service, all are warmly invited to join the family to raise a glass, share stories, and celebrate Guy's life at The Lakehouse Café, Lower Road, Onehouse, Stowmarket, IP14 3BX. I was deeply saddened to hear of your passing. Although life changed over the years, I will always be grateful for the many memories we shared and for the years I knew you as part of the family. I’ll always remember the Three Peaks walks we did together in Yorkshire, where you always seemed to set the pace no matter the weather or terrain.
I’ll always remember your love of the countryside, your walks, your stories, and your quiet way about you. You were always welcoming to me, and I will always appreciate the kindness and support you showed over the years.
You will be greatly missed.
