It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Andrews, who died peacefully on 17th April 2026 at the age of 77, following a long and courageous battle with Motor Neuron Disease.
John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, whose warmth, kindness, and quiet strength touched the lives of all who knew him. Throughout his illness, he showed remarkable resilience and dignity, facing each day with determination and grace.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have shared in his life. His memory will be cherished always.
David and Katrin valued your Professionalism in the care that you gave to their home. David also valued his conversations with you about national events.He was particularly inspired by your positive approach to any problems or difficultys.He loved the way you checked a blow junction by wiping your hand over the junction , after having spent 5 minutes in discussion with him about a national issue.
In memory of one of the nicest men you could wish to meet, always a smile and a chat. Condolences to the family, will be remembered with affection.
A great man whom will be missed. I can still hear your voice in our kitchen servicing our boiler and I never got the recipe for your famous salsa!

My Uncle John, you will be sadly missed by so many, your fun relaxed personality and the way you would happily chat away is a wonderful memory I will treasure, along with just how hard you could whack a rounders ball!
