My parents had a shop lower down in Cowling and I vaguely remember Joan but got to know her better at the Thursday craft group she started coming to. A lovely lady with a kind heart and a big smile who was a joy to be around and there will be many people who will miss her. My sincere condolences to all your family, bless you all

So very sorry to hear this sad news. The butchers you refer to was my uncle’ Georges. My family remained customers until your father’s death. My mum and dad became good friends of your patents on the Dales dance scene. Your mum and dad came to the dance party I held for my parents, Arthur and Clara, at Keighley Golf Club at the end of March 1989. Please accept my sincere condolences.
