In loving memory of Delton 'Mac' Mccarthy who sadly slipped away on 5th April 2026 following a short hospital stay. He was a very much loved Husband, Dad, Grandad, Brother, adopted Godfather and Friend, and has left us all far too soon. We will all miss this kind, loving, generous and sometimes mischievous man very much, but will carry in our hearts our memories of our times spent with him. I am sure his 'Mac'isms will continue to pop into all of our heads from time to time.
A service to celebrate Mac's life will be held at 4pm on Thursday 30th April 2026 at Memorial Faversham Crematorium, Staple Street, Goodnestone, Faversham ME13 9HY
Followed by Mac's favourite food - fish and chips and shared memories at The Red Lion, Crockham Lane, Hernhill, Faversham ME13 9TU
Anyone who knew Mac knew he was not a lover of ties so please do not feel obliged to wear one. He was also not fond of black preferring the rich 'jewel colours' of Emerald green, Ruby red, Sapphire blue and Amethyst purple so please feel free to dress more brightly than traditional black - most of all please be comfortable!
In recognition of Mac's wishes the family would like to request that floral tributes are limited to immediate family only. If you wish to make a donation in his honour donations to either the Big Cat Sanctuary or Cancer Research this would be very much appreciated, and these can be made via the links in Funeral guide.

No words can express the sadness we share with Wendy and Mac's family and friends on his untimely passing. However, the special memories we hold of you in our heart cannot be taken away and we treasure every minute of those very precious times. You fought the hardest fight Mac, you gave it your all, as you did with everything in your life, until your body could take no more and you slipped away. Thank you for all the good times and for allowing us to be honoured to be just one chapter in your book of life. Ride off on that Harley now with that cheeky smile and sense of adventure as you wave us goodbye, until we meet again, fly high Mac. Gone, but never forgotten xxxx
