Mike was a true gentleman and a brilliant member of the Reiss IT Team. He made a lasting impression on all who worked with him and will be remembered with great affection.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mike, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all.

Following the service, a reception will be held at The Camden Arms Hotel, Pembury, TN2 4PH.
Please wear a pop of red in honour of Mike’s love of Southampton Football Club.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Hospice in the Weald or Cancer Research UK in Mike’s memory.

To Suzy and family - So very sad to hear the news of Mikes passing. He was one of our close IC best mates group, and I have many happy memories of Friday nights in the Union Bar with Mike, too many pints of Guinness over an evening of darts. Mike used to come along frequently to support the Mens Lacrosse team and he might even have stood in occasionally when we were short of players! Saturday nights tended to end up with a Kebab takeaway and Sundays were recovery days! The picture sums up our Uni graduation in 1977 when we all celebrated (somewhat excessively) the Queens Silver Jubilee festivities in London. Mike was always a kind supportive friend who looked after us all and it is with deep regret that whilst we kept in touch we didnt see each other much after we all went our separate ways. Unfortunately Sue and I will not be able to join you at the celebration of Mikes life but we will be thinking of you all on Thursday. With fondest memories, Alan

Mike was a smashing bloke and good friend who I knew for nearly 50 years.
We spent many a day at the Oval and Lords watching England trying to play cricket.
