Goodbye, My Beautiful Mum

Goodbye, my beautiful Mum,
my heart will hold you tight,
for all the love you gave to me
still shines within my life.

You loved me, your Debbie, so deeply,
more than words could ever say,
and welcomed Paul with open arms,
guiding us along the way.

You cared for our dear Bradlea,
each school run, each loving day,
a gentle, constant presence
that never went away.

With Dad, your love was timeless,
seventy years side by side,
sixty-three in marriage,
with love that would not hide.

Though we must say goodbye for now,
you’ll never be far apart,
for you, my precious, beautiful Mum,
live forever in my heart.
