Salvatore Mangano (13 Apr 1945 - 17 Mar 2026)

In loving memory of Salvatore Mangano who sadly passed away on 17th March 2026 in Sunderland Royal Hospital, following a short illness, aged 80. He leaves behind a loving family of wife Sandra and son Domenic.
 
Spending much of his life in the hospitality trade, working from a young age in the cafes and hotels of his birthplace, Taormina, he later worked around Switzerland prior to moving to Great Britain where he branched out for himself forming a number of establishments in the Leeds and Harrogate areas. An avid follower of all things football he was a lifetime supporter of Juventus and Leeds United and with a longstanding passion for Golf played as a member of Harrogate, Leeds Wike Ridge and Houghton-le-Spring Golf Clubs.
 
The funeral service will take place at Rawdon Crematorium, Leeds Road, Rawdon, Leeds, LS19 6JP on 23 April 2026 at 11:30am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Trust and Leeds Childrens Hospital.
