In loving memory of John Lane who sadly passed away on 5th March 2026. John was the beloved partner of Debbie for 27 years. He worked as a Site Manager for McLean Homes (latterly George Wimpey) from 1982 to 2000 when he took early retirement. He was a brother, uncle, great uncle, and just recently a great-great uncle and friend to many. John came through WW2, being evacuated to Melksham and Tenbury Wells as a young boy. He did his National Service from 1955-1957 and was very proud of this fact. He loved gardening, animals especially cats & dogs, reading, sport, history, music (Frank Sinatra his favourite), collecting vinyl records, visiting stately homes and a nice glass of red wine! He was a kind and caring soul and will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
