In loving memory of Douglas (Doug) Brady, who sadly passed away on the 14th February, after a long battle with cancer. He was an inspiration to us all with his positivity throughout.
Devoted and loving husband and father to Di, Tess and Arlan. Cherished and loving son and brother to Irene, Terence, Claire and family, Stuart, Meghan, Oscar and Lara. Sadly missed by family, friends and colleagues.
He will be remembered for his cool head, humour, quick wit, intelligence and problem solving.
His great loves were his family, fly fishing, skiing, mountain walking, cycling, and sailing in latter years, all done with his family (except the fly fishing).
Please join Doug's family for his Funeral Service on Friday, March 27th, 10am, at Lawnswood Crematorium, Otley road, Adel, Leeds, LS16 6AH.
A Celebration of his life will be held at Weetwood Hall Hotel, Otley road, Weetwood, Leeds, LS16 5PS from 11:45am. Anyone needing to stay in Leeds, can receive a 10% discount at Weetwood Hall Hotel (0113 230 6000) when booking a room directly. You will need to mention that you are attending Doug's Celebration of Life.
We have chosen to have family flowers only, and any donations to go to St Gemma's Hospice Charity where Doug spent his last days and was very well looked after.
