Dear Lorraine and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time x

We cannot believe dear Mick has passed away .. God bless him always🙏💙

He was such a larger than life character and he had such a dry wit and made Barry and I laugh so much x

We enjoyed so many good times at the Catholic club that he took over from his beloved parents, Betty and John.. lovely family x

We had our 5 children’s Baptism celebrations there, attended many other parties, events and funerals and best of all were the monthly quiz nights.. they sound boring but were far from it..Mick hosted the evenings and had to regularly keep certain members in check from shouting across the hall, telling them to ‘shut up or your banned ‘!

If our Priest Father Graham was in attendance Mick would do his best to stop the occasional swear words depending on the questions😂😂

Mick and his family always supported our Charity events helping to raise funds.

He was a great help in our local community x

It was such a shame when the club closed after so many years .. so many good memories x

Mick will be missed by so many especially his lovely family Lorraine and the girls, his grandchildren, and his brothers and sister plus his many friends at the Club x

May he rest in peace forever and we hope he enjoyed a Guinness with his Dad and Our Barry on St Patrick’s Day .. Sláinte 🍀
Love.. Suzan, Daniel, Thomas, Calum, Shannon and Conor 💙🙏

Lorraine, Emma, Sophie, Harry and Evie,

My heartfelt condolences to you all.

Mick was an honourable, generous, proud, diligent, hard-working, humorous man, a voracious reader, a music lover amongst many things

Taken far too early.

May God rest his good soul, and may his memory be eternal.

It was with deep sadness that we heard of Mick's passing He was one of our founder members. In 2018 we began without money or a place to meet and Mick immediately supported us by allowing us free access to the St. Peter and The Guardians Social Club. He will be remembered as a kind, helpful and amusing host of our meetings. We will always be grateful for the way he looked after us in the early days of our group. We offer our sincerest condolences to his family and friends. Southwark Park Association 1869
