When you’re born, your mum teaches you everything. As you grow older, you start to feel like you don’t need her as much. Eventually, you leave home and become the teacher to your own children. Yet, deep down, you always know she’s there—ready to guide you whenever you need her.
Even when it feels like you’re walking through life on your own, she’s still there, quietly steadying you, ready to catch you if you stumble. It’s only when she’s gone that you truly realise what it means to walk alone—no longer having her there to catch you when you fall.
But even then, she never really leaves. She’s in every step you take. She taught you well, and she lives on within you—always.
