In loving memory of Eric Perham, aged 78, who sadly passed away on 8th February 2026, with his children, Gavin and Laura, by his side, following an unexpected heart attack shortly after a happy family Christmas.

Eric began life from humble beginnings and grew up in a family of four children: Jean, Margaret, Eric and Ken.

In 1976, Eric married his beloved wife, Maggie. They shared over 45 wonderful years of love, laughter and companionship. Together they raised two children, Gavin and Laura, who, along with their families, were the pride and joy of his life. Eric was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and remained an integral part of our lives right up until his passing.

In his younger years, Eric travelled widely, visiting countries including Japan, America, Canada and Russia. He was also the bass guitarist in a Mod band called The Next Issue, embracing his love of music and adventure.

Eric had a strong work ethic and worked really hard to build a good life and a family home in Tunbridge Wells. He found great fulfilment in his career in graphic design in London. Starting out in printing, he retrained in graphic design and went on to become a Managing Director — a testament to his determination and talent.

He loved watching sport with a cup of tea in hand, especially supporting his beloved football team, Crystal Palace.

Eric will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his quiet strength, and the love he gave. He will be deeply missed.

A service to honour Eric’s life will be held at 1:00 on 20th March 2026 at Kent & Sussex Crematorium followed by a wake at 2:45 at The Deer Park Cafe, Sham Farm Road, Tunbridge Wells TN3 9JB.

Rather than flowers which will fade, please make donations to Sarcoidosis UK, a rare condition that took Erics wife Maggie, who he dearly missed.
