Christine ‘Ann’ Harvey (22 Dec 1949 - 28 Jan 2026)

In loving memory of Christine Ann Harvey who sadly passed away on 28th January 2026
Christine Ann Harvey, known as Ann to everyone who knew and loved her, was born on the 22nd of December 1949. Adopted soon after birth by Lawrence and Hilda Tarry, she was raised with love and care. Ann spent her early years in Bradmore, shaping her childhood and leaving lasting memories.
Ann married twice. Her first marriage was to Peter Bishop, with whom she had two children, Alan and Lisa. Later, after their separation, Ann found love again with Raymond Harvey. Together, they settled in Keyworth, building a home and creating many cherished memories.
Ann was a devoted, loving Nana to her three grandchildren, Abbie, Erin, and Daniel. She cherished every moment with them, and some of her happiest times were spent caring for them and enjoying their company.
Ann always made Christmases and birthdays extra special. She put in a lot of effort to make those occasions truly memorable, ensuring that the whole family felt loved and special.
Some of Ann’s happiest memories were made in her beloved Scarborough, first as a child with her mum and dad, and later in life with Raymond, and sometimes with the grandchildren. Scarborough held joy across different chapters of her life and remained close to her heart.
In later life, and after Raymond’s passing, Ann’s health began to decline, but her caring and loving nature for her children and grandchildren never wavered. That love remained constant, right to the end.
As with all of us, Ann’s life had its ups and downs. But she was fortunate to experience two loving marriages and to have a close, caring family around her until the very end. She is now at peace, and I’m sure she’s been reunited with Raymond, and already telling him what to do again.
