In loving memory of Elizabeth Maycock who sadly passed away on 21st January 2026.
Mum was born at a maternity home in Sherwood on Herbert Road. She was brought home to Farleys Lane in Hucknall. The lane would also be where she made her home with her husband Barrie Maycock, bringing up their two children, Tony and Philip.
Mum worked as a secretary for several Hucknall solicitors, as a dinner lady at the Beardall Street school and finally as a GP receptionist.
Mum leaves behind three grandchildren; Chloe, Olivia and Jessica. And two great-granchildren who belong to Olivia; Reuben and Elsie.
