In loving memory of Ann who sadly passed away on 19th January 2026.
Ann was a woman of strong character who knew exactly what she wanted and was never afraid to say so. She loved visiting places, spending time with people, and in her younger days was fiercely independent; especially when driving her little yellow car, which she adored.
Ann enjoyed good company and, around nine years ago, formed a special friendship with John. Together they went on many outings, enjoying car journeys and long conversations on all sorts of subjects. She loved going out for meals too, though not if there was too much gravy on the plate!
A devoted Catholic, Ann took great comfort in her faith and enjoyed attending Mass and other religious gatherings.
Ann will be deeply missed for her determination, her quirks, and her unmistakable way of doing things. She could be particular, but that was simply Ann, and life would not have been the same without it. She wouldn’t have been herself if she were any different. Though she is no longer with us, she will always be remembered and greatly missed.
Ann spent the last few days of her life at Mary Stevens Hospice, Stourbridge. Donations may be made via the JustGiving page.
The funeral will take place at :
Our Lady and All Saints RC Church, 13 New road, Stourbridge DY8 1PQ on Thursday 12/2/26 at 2pm. There is a car park next to the church.
Then the burial will be at Norton Road Catholic Churchyard, Stourbridge DY8 3YY.
Turn the car around so it’s facing back towards Stourbridge and park on Norton road.
Reception will then follow at The Gigmill pub, South Road, Stourbridge DY8 3UL

Hi mum been thinking about you as it was your birthday Monday and a grand age of 91 . I hope you had a lovely day up there and enjoyed st Patrick’s day yesterday. Every time I open my cupboard I smell TCP and think of you and how you’d recommend tcp for anything!! Xx

Oh Ann, so many memories. Celebrating in our lounge when Chris and Andrew got married overseas. Your lovely interest in my daughters and grandchildren. Know its been long time since we saw you but will hold onto special memories. Rest in peace Ann xxx
I have fond memories of Ann, from my childhood, when I became friends with Christine at Primary School. She always dressed very well and spoke her mind. My parents were also Irish & she enjoyed chatting with them. I would often see her over the years, when visiting Christine.

Remembering a lovely lady, a true character who did things her way.
Ann was so welcoming when I use to come down to stay with her daughter Chris with my two children. For a while we couldn't stay with Chris so we stayed at the guest room where Ann lived, she made such a fuss of us and took interest in the children. My husband also use to enjoy chatting to her too on the
phone, a true character, rest in peace Ann 🙏
My dearest sister Ann, sorry you have passed away, but it’s a happy release for you, we wouldn’t have liked you to suffer any more.we will remember the happy get togethers we had and all the fun and laughter. May you rest peacefully now, love Bridget and David xxx

Dear Aunty Ann was such a sweet lady and was very close to my dear mum Mamie, they were sisters. Recently Chris sent me some gorgeous letters which Aunty Ann and my mum wrote to each other; they were so loving , showing how much they cared about each other. Aunty Ann was also very good at sending birthday cards and gifts to all our children, Sophie, Tom and Kate when they were younger and used to send them about a month in advance. Chris,I and all the family were very fond of her and we will really miss her , RIP dear Aunty Ann ❤️

Dearest auntie Ann. You were my Godmother, and you always reminded me of that. Pre-deceased by both my parents and step-parents, I felt a special connection to you. You never missed my birthday…would I had been half as wonderful. You will be with me forever in my heart, but I shall miss you sweet voice. God is waiting, I know you are in his sacred presence.💔
