i miss you so much its been 75 days without you. It's hard knowing i won't see you every saturday or ever again.I still think of you every day you drive me to be better in everything whether it is when i score a try or do a hard task at school i always think that you would not want me to give up or back down.I miss when we used to work on the boat or when you would call me out to do a random job for you i miss it so much and i feel like we didn't do enough of that together and i feel so guilty even though everybody says its not my fault i wish i could make it up to you.

i love you so much grumps.

Bodge it Bill aka my second Dad…

I don’t really know where to start!!

You were a pain in my backside with your “I’ve got a job for you it will only take you 5mins” jobs that would take me hours if not days to do for you 🤣. But It was never a problem though as I know how you loved your little projects and sometimes just needed a hand getting to the next stage for you to carry on. Im aware of the ones that I need to get finished for you which I will do without getting paint everywhere (sorry not sorry).

I miss you and you stupid one liners already, I guess one of us will have to get cracking with the dad jokes now!

I’m not sure you ever knew how thankful I was/am for every thing you done for me and Leah over the years, I will be eternally grateful. Thank you.

I can’t believe that tomoorow we will be going on our last drive.. just sinking in I think…

I hope you were proud to call me you’re son-in-law, and I promise I will keep looking after everyone now your gone.

Miss you mate, have one for the road for me wherever you are….

This isn’t good by but just I’ll see you later….

Love From (how you so eloquently put it on my wedding day) your Lump… Charlie xx

P.S. the boats still got no water in it 🤯

Bill,
Thank you for welcoming me into your lovely family. I only got to know you for a few years but I feel truly honoured. The stories you use to tell me what you used to get up to with your brothers. I will miss your silly jokes, what you stole from the shops that week and bringing you back fags from the airport duty free. I will never forget those pots of jam you got me for my toast in the mornings when I used to stay round.
I am so happy you got to meet our blessing Rory. We will continue to tell him all about his Grumps! I will make sure I take care of your boy Jamie as well - don’t you worry about that!
Rest easy up the Bill, enjoy your fags!

Lots of Love Jas xxxx

Dad,
I’ve been trying to find the right words to say but they just won’t come! Then I realised I take after you more than I realise… my wedding day! Even a fag paper couldn’t save you from finding the words to say to a room full of people!! “Thank you for coming!”
Grumps is the most fitting name for you and a name our boys will never forget but underneath all that grumpiness was the kindest, caring, funniest dad, grandad and husband. You helped Charlie, the boys and I more than we could ever repay you for! The boys love and miss you so much and are missing your awful jokes already!!
Selfishly, I wish we had more time but I am happy
You are no longer hurting and the pain is gone, you endured more than you deserved and I am in awe in how you carried on despite it all. Your strength over Christmas to ensure we all got to spend it together is something I’ll never forget and I appreciate it so much. It’s a lovely last memory to have as a family, thank you. Im proud to be your daughter and even prouder to call you my dad!
The boys will continue to do you proud… especially with their rugby even though you don’t have a clue what the game is about! Cheer them on, give them strength and send nice weather for me please!!!
Love you always, try to behave up there with your brothers… I’m sure Nan will keep you in line!
Gone but never forgotten, love you dad always and forever Leah xxxxxxx
