In loving memory of Doug Pimblett who sadly passed away on 25th December 2025

We are saddened to share that Doug passed away on Christmas Day 2025, having spent happy days sharing memories with family and cared for by his friends on Patience 2 Ward at Nottingham City Hospital.

We will be celebrating his life of kindness and humour, family and friendship on the 27th January 2026 with a service at Rushcliffe Oaks Crematorium, Main Road, Stragglethorpe, Nottingham NG12 2PY at 2:30pm and afterwards at Stanton-on-the Wolds Golf Club, Golf Course Rd, Stanton-on-the-Wolds, Nottingham NG12 5BH.

Doug requested that people do not feel that they need to wear black so a colourful celebration - and in particular Everton Blue - will be warmly welcomed. Any donations you wish to make in Doug's memory will go to the Nottingham University Hospital Trust and to support Patience 2 Ward in particular.

We look forward to hearing your memories and stories of our husband, dad and grandad and seeing any photos to celebrate his wonderful life.
