So sorry to learn that John has died. He was a real gentleman. All the bell ringers at wroughton will be so sad to hear this news. My deep condolences to his family.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John in RUH Bath on Sunday 28th December aged 89.
John was a much loved dad, grandad and great grandad, who will be missed by all.
John was a Devizes man born and bred and loved his home town often seen around the town watching the world go by with his faithful dog, always happy to stop a while for a natter. A very keen bellringer around the town and local villages.
Funeral service is to be held at St John’s Church, Devizes at 12pm on 14th January followed by burial at Great Cheverell.
