It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher John Hammond, who died peacefully at home on Wednesday 17th December 2025, aged 72 years, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband and best friend of Vanda
Treasured and truly the best dad to Tom and Jack, and father-in-law to Laura and Katie.
A devoted, fun-loving grandad to Sebby, Theo and Max.
A much-loved brother, uncle, and a dear friend to many.

A service to celebrate Chris’s life will take place on:
Monday 12th January 2026 at 10.15 am in the Thoresby Chapel at Mansfield Crematorium.

Family flowers only, please.
Donations, if desired, will be gratefully received for the John Eastwood Hospice.
