In loving memory of Angela Bhanvra, who sadly passed away on Friday 5 December 2025 at St James’s Hospital, Leeds, after bravely losing her battle with cancer.
Angela was a dearly loved wife, mum, daughter, sister, auntie and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Dear friends and extended family,
We wanted to share an important update regarding the arrangements for Angela’s funeral. Angela will make one final journey through Appleton Roebuck, leaving West End Avenue at approximately 11.40am and travelling via Northfield Way, Northfield Avenue and Malt Kiln Lane to the village green. We warmly invite anyone who wishes to line the route or gather at the green, where the hearse will pause for a while to allow time to pay respects and say a final goodbye. The green was a place Angela loved to visit with Daisy and her grandchildren and it feels like a fitting way to honour her.
All are welcome to attend at the committal at Stonefall Crematorium, Harrogate at 1pm. We would appreciate if family can be prioritised when entering the crematorium and being seated, as we anticipate there will be a large amount of people wishing to pay their respects. the wake will take place at Hornington Manor in Bolton Percy from 2pm where everyone will be warmly welcomed. It will be an opportunity to come together, pay respects, reminisce, and share stories about Angela - celebrating the incredible person she was and the love that we all had for her. We hope you will be able to join us then.

Angela, I’m Itziar, Lorena’s sister. My sister will miss you so much, and through her, we will too. You have been a very important person to her, and we all love you and your whole family very much.
