  • Yes Becky they were happy times. The little girl on the left is my cousin Angela who lives in Otley, and was as shocked as I was when I told her about your mum. The little boy behind John was my other cousin David who died 10 years ago.

Fond memories of our childhood together, including shared holidays on the Isle of Man (see photo) and the time when, amusingly, Jean tried to drag me onto the stage at Oakworth Primary School during one playtime (which I successfully resisted!). Although I didn't see much of Jean in adulthood, I always felt she was “there”. Not once did she fail to attend and give support at family events on both happy and sad occasions. Family was important to her. The news of her passing as come as a shock – and I shall miss her.

  • Becky Im so so so so sorry to hear this. Really sorry. Your mum was so kind to me as a child when we were friends at Oakworth Primary School and she also followed my work in Dog Rescue and even donated sometimes to help a dog in need. She was an Angel, and I know you and the family must be feeling the loss so much. Im so so so sorry. Big Hugs. xxxxxxxxxxxx
