Bob was a very sociable man of many interests and projects. I shall always be grateful for everything that he and Carol did for me while I was laid up with a broken ankle earlier in the year. I had many conversations with Bob during that time on such diverse subjects as sport, religion, politics and stocks and shares and although we disagreed on a very few occasions we always respected each others views. He will be missed, not only in this country but as far afield as Australia. RIP mate.
