Ray, I genuinely felt the stars and planets aligned so we could meet. . You're the perfect counterbalance to me—the true Yin to my Yang—and you made me a better man.
I wouldn't trade a single minute of our time together: the band, the karaoke nights, the Chelsea games, the laughs—all of it. My heart goes out to Helen and the family, all of whom I love like my own family.
When I was deep in cancer treatment and seriously unwell, I focused on those lights at the end of the tunnel. Honestly, outside of my own immediate family, our friendship was the biggest motivator I had; the thought of seeing you again helped to keep me going.
Thanks for being a truly great mate, I miss you beyond words.

I’ll See you on the dark side of the moon.
Liam

As we in South London would say, Ray was a Diamond Geezer! Had the pleasure of getting to know Ray as a friend and colleague through work. He truly was a lovely man. Selfless, generous with his time. He had a wicked sense of humour, can still hear his laugh now! His dedication to his family never far away from his thoughts. Go Well Ray……..
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this difficult time.
