Douglas Leigh Woodley (Doug) of Bridgwater passed away peacefully on 27th October 2025 aged 79 years. Doug will be sadly and deeply missed by all his family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Sedgemoor Crematorium on Wednesday 19th November 2025 at 12noon. Family flowers only please. I have known Doug since I was 16, as I became friends with his daughter Sharon when we started our YTS Training at BCL Cellophane in the September of 1989. Doug was the kindest, most thoughtful and helpful person that anyone could ever meet, nothing was too much trouble, I am ever grateful for our lifts to the airport on our girls holidays back in the day and more recently our much calmer nights out in town, Doug was happy to help anyone whenever/wherever he could.
My thoughts and prayers are with Mary and Sharon x
