Steve was and still is my best friend from a young age - he was one of the kindest, dearest friends a girl could ever ask for. We always had a giggle about the silliest things, he let me practice my hairdressing skills on him, with a nice curly perm and blonde highlights and he never flinched when I cut his ear and it wouldn’t stop bleeding. We never judged each other and always had each other’s backs. Even when months had passed without talking we could always pick up where we left off. I will miss Steve so much, but will treasure the memories we shared forever, until we meet again.. Louisa xxx

Stephen was a very special person in my life. In the past we shared some great memories, including going to Peru for 3 weeks. He has been taken away far too young from us . Once you met him, you would never forget his warm and unique personality. Stephen rest in peace

The kindest, sweetest man. I've known you since I was 15. Our paths crossed many times over the years and you were always the same. A big smile and always positive. I still laugh everytime I hear 'Take On Me' a reminder of teenage adventures...Rest in Peace my lovely x

I first met Stephen on an Interactive Skills course in Jan 1991. He was a lovely, sensitive soul and me and Jan Wraith bonded quickly with him. I saw him recently and he seemed happy and we had a lovely chat. Can't believe he's gone. Rest in peace lovely.

  • Steve was a gentleman—kind, thoughtful, and always gracious. A pleasure to know and work with, his presence brought warmth and calm to every room. His smile made the space brighter, and his quiet strength made those around him feel supported. A gentleman sums Steve up in one, and we were lucky to have known him. God Bless. Jan
