Your favourite place to be beside the sea, missing you x
In loving memory of Jane Byrne of Leeds 9, and Jarrow who sadly passed away on 26th October 2025 after a short illness , leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that touched everyone who knew her.
Jane was a beautiful soul; caring, kind, and intuitive, with an extraordinary gift for connecting with people. She had a natural warmth and wisdom that drew others to her and made them feel seen and valued. Intelligent and thoughtful, she was endlessly curious about the world and deeply interested in those around her.
Jane dedicated 30 years to a successful career in the insurance industry, where she was known for her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for colleagues and clients alike. Her integrity, kindness and sense of fun left a lasting impression on everyone she worked with.
She had a lifelong love of animals, especially her beloved dogs, and a deep appreciation for music, both of which brought her great joy. Jane also loved to travel, discovering new places and cultures gave her such happiness, especially her cherished trips to South Africa to visit her beloved aunties, where she felt a special connection and sense of belonging.
Stylish, sassy and graceful, Jane was beautiful inside and out. She had a quiet strength, a wonderful sense of humour, and an elegance that was uniquely hers.
Jane will be remembered always for her Chanel scent, generosity of spirit, her laughter, her compassion, and the way she made everyone feel special. She leaves behind her loving partner Gary, her parents, John and Bernadette, adoring and adored brother David and sister Rachael and Paul, Gary's mum, Marlene sister Gail and all her extended family, and her many friends who will miss her beyond measure but carry her and the memories they shared in their hearts forever.
Gone from this world but never from ours, x
