Didn't know you for a great amount of time Mike. Myself and Helen always looked forward to having a chat with you when passing your house "Tober" while out with the dogs. Oscar was always ready with an enthusiastic welcome but it was always overshadowed by yours. Always smiling, always cracking a joke and we were never completely sure what state of undress you would be in! All joking aside, it seems so sad walking past your house now. Gone but certainly not forgotten Mike. RIP my friend.

So sad to hear of Mike's passing. Had the pleasure of working with him at his bodshop for quite a few years in the 1980s. He helped me hone my bodywork skils, and was also a truly lovely chap to spend time with. Also shared a passion for music, guitars and basses.
Together again with the equally lovely Irene. Fond memories always.

  • Saddened to hear the news Michael lived next door at Berrio when I was young, always smiling and I remember him practicing with electric guitar. In later years he resprayed a car for my now wife, lovely man. Condolences to his family Tony Lawrence
