RIP our Steve, I have so many fond memories of us growing up together in Woodhouse and on our transition to adulthood. It was always great to hear details of your navy trips, before you settled down with the love of your life Julie.
It was a huge privilege to be your best man (however we all knew that I was your second choice, as your brother Rob was unable to take on the role having recently moved to Canada)
So many other memories that I would have liked to share with family and friends had I been able to travel from NZ to attend your funeral.
You will always be remembered for your family values, strong work ethic, generosity and dry sense of humour.
I don't have to reach out far in my mind to remember such great memories of a truly great cuz.
