In loving memory of Peggy Warnes, a beloved Sister, Auntie, Great-Auntie and friend, who sadly passed away on 9th September 2025.

Peggy was a lifelong resident of Blidworth. Upon leaving school in Nottingham, she worked as a machinist, then as an auxiliary nurse at Newstead Hospital, and later in the canteen at Blidworth colliery.

In her retirement, she enjoyed walking her dog and looking after her cat. Peggy loved meeting everyone and stopping for a chat.

Her funeral service will take place at Mansfield Crematorium in the Newstead Chapel on Friday 10th October 2025 at 12pm.

Donations in lieu of flowers are welcome and will benefit the Alzheimer's Society.
