In loving memory of Barbara Lilian Sheed who sadly passed away on 3rd September 2025.

Barbara lived a life defined by kindness, warmth, and an unconditional love for her family.

More than her roles as wife and mother, Barbara was a true friend to many. She touched hearts effortlessly with her compassion, her humour, her smile and her genuine ability to make everyone feel seen and loved.

Her legacy will live on in the lives she shaped, the love she gave, and the countless memories that will be cherished forever.

We will forever love and miss you . Now rest in peace. xxxx

A celebration of her life will be held at Dunmow Crematorium on 29th September 2025, at 14:00. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate the life of a remarkable woman who will be forever loved and never ever forgotten.

We request Family flowers only please, if you wish to make a donation to Bowel Cancer UK, in Barbara’s honour, you will find the link above. Thank you

Many happy memories of attending events with the whole family as a child, and those amazing Boxing Day gatherings with my parents and brothers with Barbara & Charlie. Take care and sending prayers for this challenging and sad time. A

My cousin Barbara was a great support to me when I lost my dear brother Trevor and then my Mum and Dad. I shall always remember her with the fondest love and affection.

Christopher Deith donated £100 in memory of Barbara

So much of who I am, of what is good in me, came from you. Words cannot express how much I miss you. The days I spent growing up with you are the fondest memories I have. I will treasure them, treasure you, forever.

I'll make you proud.

And I'll love you always.

Robin Saunders donated £30 in memory of Barbara

Barbara was a long standing friend to my family. She was a lovely happy person, who liked to laugh. She had a wonderful life and was so proud of all her family.
I used to enjoy taking my mum to visit her in Braintree.
She will be greatly missed by so many.
