In loving memory of Margaret Ann Dickens who sadly passed away on 1st September 2025

Ann was born in 1936 the second eldest of six siblings, she grew up in Springfield Chelmsford attending Moulsham School, growing up Ann enjoyed dancing especially tap dance. When Ann left school she went to work at Hoffmans as a secretary it is there she met the late Stanley Thomas Dickens of Melbourne Chelmsford they were married at chelmsford cathedral in 1956 and honeymooned in Bournemouth. They moved to the Melbourne area and had two children Annette and Caron, Ann went to work at the local school where Annette and Caron attended as a dinner lady until her Daughters went onto secondary school and Ann left and went to work at Mothercare. She loved her job there and made many a lovely friends often talking about her memories and all the lovely people she had met. Ann was blessed with three grandchildren Katie, Lucy and Hannah and also had four Great grandchildren, she adored them all and had a lot of time for all her family, including her sisters, brother, nieces and nephews and their children too. When Mum and Dad retired they went travelling especially the Americas where one of her sisters lived they had wonderful holidays. When Ann lost Stan in 2014 she bravely went to bereavement classes and met some lovely people, it helped her cope with the deep loss she felt and never really recovered from. Anns battle with cancer was very short and not once did Ann complain about her prognosis she had both her Daughters by her side when she sadly passed at the age of 89.
