In loving memory of Brenda Foyster who sadly passed away on 19th August 2025
No one heard the footsteps of Angels drawing near and Brenda left us suddenly after losing the battle with several long term illnesses, she will be very much missed by all her family and many friends.
Born in Beckenham in September 1954 to David & Poppy with two younger siblings, Heather & Paul.
Brenda was raised in Lewisham but moved to Guernsey in her teenage years to live with her grandmother.
She then returned to live with her parents in Hither Green before marrying Nigel in 1973 when she was only 19 years old.
For the first 11 years of marriage, Brenda & Nigel would travel the world before the birth of their first son Dean in 1984 and their second son Jonathan in 1988.
Brenda's early years of marriage involved working for Barclay's Bank in both Bermondsey and then the Welling branch when she made the house move to Gravesend some 40 years ago.
In later years she doted over her three wonderful grandchildren, Charlie, Harry & Poppy and we are sure that her love and devotion to them will guide them on the right path through life.
Brenda lived an eventful and colourful life that was no doubt packed with happy and some sad memories however she has left us knowing that she was a much loved by both her family and all that who knew her.

I think back to the fifty five years that we spent together at Christmas and recall the many happy times that we shared with family and friends, some of which are sadly also no longer with us.
This may be our first Christmas apart but you will be much missed not only today but also in the days to come.

Just one more day until you are finally taken from us.
We shall however be with you as the angels guide you to be at rest with those that you have sadly lost and loved in life.
